A notebook of child-like doodles by tragic Beatle John Lennon has been tipped to sell for £7,000 when it goes under the hammer at Julien’s auctions in Los Angeles on December 7.
Lennon scribbled 18 simple sketches in colourful felt-tipped pen including a basic portrait of his first wife Cynthia.
He also drew several animals in the notebook including a cow, two sheep, a dog and a robin.
